cover for crappie
if i wanted to make some cover and sink it in my local home town lake could i get in trouble for droping cover in a public lake?

I wouldn't see a problem with it, as long as it's from natural material and not from man made materials like plastic. The problem with plastics is it's there for ever and the Government (being federal, state or local) frown upon that being placed in any water shed.

Grand River Dam Ath. and wildlife dept at eufulah have placed hundreds of what is called spider blocks. Which are a concrete block with 4' to 6' pcs of all sizes of plastic pipe set in concrete. The Claremore city lake ONLY uses plastic attractors. I was told if I wanted to add any to the lake they must be notified. So best to check with lake manager.
