Good point Dusty. Most of the big crappie I have ever caught was during late winter/early spring.

Hi Folks, I'm new to the board and need help.. I have not fished for crappie on Eufaula before. Just getting started. Normally I fish for bass but am ready to try my hand at crappie fishing hopefully to mature into crappie catching. I seen a post about a Boise D'Arc creek. I have looked all over my map and can not find it. Can anyone tell in what general area it resides. I would appreciate any help. Thanks
