I fished on Monday and we did great. There were 3 of us at a pond, and we caught 78 crappie, and about 50 bass. Best crappie were 1.5 lbs about a dozen of them. We actually released everything that day, but it was a GREAT day. Gotta love fall fishing! If the church weren't having its biggest day in our history, I'd be fishing a lot more, this is the time to be out!

Several have told me that the bite is on jigs at Skiatook right now. 12' to 18'. Im using powder blue/ white jigs on structure and brushpiles to catch my fish.

Be careful out there. The wind is supposed to howl out of the South the next few days

CPD, hope everything is going alright. I'm not fishing right now either. The lake has been up and down too much lately and now it is deer season. The fish are safe until about Christmas. Hope u get better so we can go sometime.

Caught a cold three weeks back and just now getting over that. Went to the OU texas game last weekend or I would've been out on the lake. Sure had a good time but some of them Texas folks sure could learn some manners. Hope the weather levels out soon. All the rain and high water hasn't helped much.

OU Texas Game? Who won? Or should I wonder why you say them Texas folks should learn some manners?

My dad always told me OU is 21 points in the hole when they walk down the ramp.
They score 3-TD's Sat. win by 5, cover the Vegas spread of 3.
Think it's a fluke? Do the math on this series and 21 points would have eeked out a win alot of of years.
