The best and worst day ever at Oologah!
A buddy and I fished from 8 to noon on Saturday. We cleaned 61 over 10 inches. All caught on brush piles in 10 feet with minnows. That was the only good thing about the day. I broke an 11 foot Todd Huckabee Pullin Rod that belonged to my buddy. Also, I was trying to get my hook off a brush pile and slipped right out of the boat. I had my cell phone and wallet in my pocket as well. Oh well, at least the fishing was great! In retrospect, it was very funny. The sight of my buddy hauling my fat a** up onto the back deck was amusing I'm sure. Luckily there were no strangers around to witness it.
Has anyone else ever fallen out of a boat?

Well, I've gone out the last two of my three times and caught nothing! So, you still are doing alright in my book!

I fell out of the boat in water well over my head last november at Reelfoot Lake here in Tennessee. I was decked out in full winter gear from my bibs to coat and it was not easy to get back int he boat. It was cold and I thought I was gonna die....Good thing I had a buddy wth me! Never would have been able to get back in the boat by myself.
