    Default Washington County

Hey. Any Washington County Crappie Fishermen here? what is the latest report? I am going to Hudson Lake (Bartlesville City lake) Saturday Morning to see what we can coax out of the water.

How is Copan for Crappie now? Water cooled down any? Heard it was 78 Monday evening.

    Hi Tim.
I caught a nice 2-3lb channel cat right off. We eventually ended the day with 2 keeper crappie. Caught 20-25 throw backs. Mix of white crappie, black crappie, blue gills and one small bass. So an enjoyable day.

Going back up to fish off the dock or dam this evening. Will see how we do now that the water is a bit cooler. Will advise.

    Default Hudson Lake 08/31/09

Fished off the dam at Hudson last evening. Not much action. A bit windy.
I caught a couple of perch on bottom rigs with worms and one crappie on a trolling crawdad jig.

Wife caught 9 perch and a small bass. She keeps track..LOL.

Was a nice evening and enjoyed the time out together.

Great way to spend an evening. My wife (Southern Woman) and I fish together most of the time. We really enjoy being on the water, If we catch fish, its just an added bonus.

    Default Fishin with the wife

My wife enjoys catchin the little perch. Regardless of what we catch she won't eat'em, though..I will have to clean, store, prepare, cook and eat what I catch.
