    Unhappy A thousand words

Went out today to enjoy the howling winds. The dock was rocking and rolling. Tried hair, marabou, plastic, and finally a smashed dead minnow that I picked up off the floor. The results: This picture worth a thousand words.

Man that’s tough, if you didn’t catch a keeper BigSky.

Redge, no keeper, no dinks, not a bump, except for the wind trying to take the rod out of my hand when I braved the outdoors.

You were lucky you didn’t end up riding that dock across the lake with today’s winds. But I bet you had the lake all to yourself today!

You got it, Cc. No boats, nobody on the dock, just some seagulls trying not to get blown to Tulsa. And don't think I wasn't trying to figure out whether the dock would float if it got blown away. Those pencils were really swaying.

I sure would not have wanted to be out on a boat in those winds yesterday - I bet the waves were huge. But I hear you about rocking and rolling docks -- our dock really gets to swaying around in strong winds. Just about makes me sea sick. But sorry to hear it was a bad day for fishing. Hopefully next time will be better.

Thanks, Steve. I DID have to lean against the rail or sit in a chair. My sea legs are not what they used to be.
