Thread: It's been awhile - I've missed you guys

Glad to be back on crappie.com and start catching up with some of my buddies -- and meet some of the new ones that have joined since I was here last (I'm thinking it's been close to 2 years that I've been away). Due to previous jobs, my access to the site was pretty much cut off during working hours. And who wants to spend time on the computer after a hard day at the office... But I've got a new job which allows a little more "free time" so I can spend some time in here and get caught up with everything. Did quite a bit of fishing in October and November at our dock on Eufaula. Did pretty well -- restocking the freezer a bit. Also hanging fresh cedars under the dock as well. But spent 11 days down at our lake place over Christmas and New Year and it was just too dang cold. Went down to the dock for a bit. But with the strong north wind, the waves were splashing up on the dock and making lots of ice on everything close to the water. I didn't stay down there but just a few minutes to check to see if I still had any minnows left -- and I was shocked to see most of them still alive. Weather is supposed to be looking better over the next couple of weeks, so hopefully next weekend I'll have some time away from Kim's honey-do list to see if they are biting.
