I may need some of your help

I'm coming to Tecumseh OK from Sept 20 thru Oct 18 to go to mud engineer school. I would like to stay fairly close to there, but the cheapest hotel would cost about $1600 and I am looking at renting an apartment, condo, cabin, or something with a kitchen and my own bathroom. If any of you know of anything around Norman, Shawnee, or Tecumseh, please let me know. I would like something in a decent neighborhood, so I could sleep at night.

I don't really want to go all the way to Oklahoma City. Norman looks like a college town and I might can find something there, but I thought some of you might know something.

I can't seem to find an apartment that they will rent for a month. I was wondering if someone around OK City or Shawnee might have a RV or travel trailer they would like to rent instead of letting it sit thru the fall? I think there's places at the Lake Thunderbird (or is it Little River State Park?) for campers and such. I don't drink or party and would take good care of it. You could even come by checking on it and I'll bring crappie with me and cook for you! I don't freeload and am willing to pay a good price. I just don't want to spend all that money on a hotel room and then have to eat out every meal. I've probably called a hundred places in the last few days and it's always the same answer. Any thoughts or answers would be greatly appreciated.
