I've cleaned out all the tackle boxes and restrung line on most of my rod and reels. Running out of things to do this rain has got to stop sometime GEES.

i feel ur pain grubby. i took this week off from work since school starts on monday and i planned on fishing alot. however mother nature changed all that. im not gunna let her get the best of me tho. goin out today to get wet and see if i cant catch a few catfish. how sad

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones,, here in BA gotta fish SAT. and hadda werk SUN. more O/T wish we cood just stay out of it a while,, after 11 mos. and 2 days of it momma's gotta lotta of honey do's stacked up fer me...that I'm catching up on quite rapidly....
back ta the fishn I took my partner and one of his buddies out fer a couple of hours SAT. no crappie then,, however went yesterday after werk and got 3 (dinks) but at least the were crappie,, gotta e/mail from a guy that says he doesn't post on this forum but reads a lotta of our threads and told me a trick ta do with commercial raised minners,, I'll try it tamorrow after werk and post the results tamorrow nite.....

he said ta crush up a 1/2 a multivitamin tablet and put it in 1.5 gal. of water per 1/4lb. of minners,, sounds far fetched ta me now as when I read it and ta make sure ya leave yer battery operated bubbler on...
I'll prolly overdose mine cuz I got about a dozen left from SAT.,, I buy the smallest minners Jack at OKIE BAIT has but thats me....I don't know the theory behind this and have no idea what it does yet, he did say ta add the vitamin at least 2 hrs prior ta fish'n...
this all sounds tooo unbelievable ta me but if anybodu knows me I'll try anything once, if it'll give me an advantage against the CRAPPIE....

I stopped at a local covienence store and bought a gallon of distilled water, crushed up 1/2 sentrum multivitamin and tossed it in at the store in a 5 gal. bucket with the minners knowing that I had about 15 mins of soak time before I got ta the BLUFF, feeling pretty good that they became real lively when I added that POWER WATER to it....
got ta the BLUFF and NOT one minner was ALIVE,, ALL DEAD,, dumped them out on the ground with discuss and pulled out some night crawlers and ended up perch bangin fer a bit...
At least the minners didn't gota waste...
got back up ta the BRONCO II and a small ugly dog was eat'n the last of the 14 minners,, I assume they'll end up dog poop instead of CRAPPIE poop....
GOTTA LAUGH.. some of the things I do ta getta edge of these fish....

Hey the blues are gone now fished friday and saturday and caught fish both days. Firday I went to Draper and saturday me and the wife went to T-bird. The fish were cooperating pretty well.
