Took the bitter 1/2 and the partner fer a relaxed day of BULL gill fishn..
spent all week ta make sure every aspect of the trip would go as planned,,
(new trailer tires/wheels, new bearings/seals on both sides, new start/troll batteries, patched an irritating lil leak the cork developed due ta Bluff Landing) every thing went according ta planned from the werd go....

except for

nobody told the

BULL GILLS TA BITE....

give it our best shot and by 4pm we were worn out & still gotta hour drive ahead of us ta the house,, left just in time before the heavy drizzle started coming down,, rained closed ta all the way home and continued after we got home fer a bit...
several good fish not the numbers I was looking for but still hadda great day on the water with my family...

Good to hear you caught a few anyway. I spent yesterday changing out the deck of the 16' trailer. $178 worth of pressure treated 2x8's from Lowes and she looks dang near new. Spent today being lazy, and doing a bit of interior home cleaning. Hope the rain lets up by Tuesday morning. I've got a load of custom bookcases to deliver and install.
