A Sad Day At Bluff...

was gonna take the wife and fishn partner ta Keystone and didnt know if the boat would run since its been about 7 mos. since its started last,, yeah that was Jan.20,08 and it was cold then,, I've been known ta have ta call a wrecker ta get me off that frozen ramp before....
wheres the best place ta go thats close ta the house..

anyway the boat ran like it was brand new, didnt have a hickup or nut'n, no smoke just bout fell out of the boat with excitement..
went into Adams Creek and to my surprise this is what I found,, soo much fer that honey hole...

yeah but the good thing is that we can still get further into Adams Creek just hafta go under the bridge on the northern side tight but still passable...

Does anybody know when it went down...
I noticed that someone has gotta dozer out there already,, an Oklahoma Christmas Tree has blown over but its still on the bridge...

if ya look on the left side of the pic ya can still see the wooden pier that gave way, wunder if anything killed the crappie structure by that one,, I didn't fish it and my bitter 1/2 was too scared ta get near it,, ya can still hear it settling in from the popping & cracking noises...

Some idiot prolly drove over it with something really heavy. Perhaps a dozer?

Dunno what took it out,, but man-o-man i had some nice structures, the large portion of the bridge is setting on and I'm sure they're crushed flat now...
thats OK though I can always rebuild them again, just takes a lil time ta get'm ta move back in...

That center piling has been collecting debris since the bridge was built. It's always been a decent spot to catch a few Crappie if they were in the creek at the time. I've sat many a day under that thing. I just hope there is not a boat with a couple of fishermen trapped below it. Talk about a bad luck trip.

when I thru my smartcast in the middle of the pier,, the screen exploded with more brush and one could actually fish..
I've got one 6' ta the east of that pier that shows up like an atominc exlosion on yer graph,, thats the good honey hole,, I'm go'n this afternoon ta make sure its still there,, or get ready ta make a new one if it aint.. with all the rains earlier this year, its prolly washed down ta Muskogee by now, haha....
let ya'll know tanite...
