well it is finally here, another trip with barry morrow tomorrow. the first trip we took this year yeilded way too much water, but we still caught plenty of fish. this trip too looks as if the water levels might be a little high. none the less though, we are still excited and looking foward to a day of fishing with our good friend barry down there on euafaula lake. will try to post some results when we get back!!!

Barry is a really good guy and good fisherman as well I am hearing they are catching some good numbers down there I am just waiting to go to Oolougha I catch lots up there and just not as far tell Barry Big George says hey

well fridays trip started off pretty slow. in truth, we had not caught a single crappie before 12:30. we fished in gaines creek ,by our choice. barry told us that we would probably do better around blocker, but we still wanted to try gaines as we have fished blocker before and not gaines. barry stayed confident that we would eventually find the fish if we just kept on looking, and we did. around 1:00, we started catching fish in the trees just out of the main creek channel. we only ended up with 37 keepers, but the trip was a blast and very informative too!

I'm fishing with Huckabee next weekend. I will let you know how we did.

I fished with Barry on Saturday and we had a dozen. We fished all over Malhuldy Creek and we could not find the fish. On Sunday i fished with Todd in Coal Creek. We caught 49 and 95% came in less than 2 ft of water. You gotta love that shallow water summer bite. The next time someone talks to Todd or Barry ask them about the BBQ Ribs my dad cooked for them. My dad cooks the best BBQ in Kansas City. He also gave a slab of ribs to Joyce at Falls in Bed and Breakfast.
