But, I go when I can, which lately has been in the afternoons ... I don't like the heat, but I drink a lot of water and tough it out (as long as am catching some fish, of course).

I love to fish in the heat of the summer. I'm young and the heat does not bother me a bit. The hotter the better. I've fished several times on Eufaula with the air temp around 105 deg.

Quite honestly, the last few days have been hot, but not near as hot as it could be this time of year. Also, the breeze helps a lot.

Caught a few more this afternoon, the biggest 13.25 inches, caught by my 10year old son. He will be a crappie master for sure.
