Default Rain and Fishing

Just trying to give little bit of input on fishing during high water times. Go to small inpoundments and enjoy. Small inpoundments have spillways and small dams so they level faster and clear up faster which allows for fishing in stable water faster. American Horse lake. Lone Chimney Lake, Pawhuska City lake just to name a few that I like to fish. Pumpback or Chimney rock is a good one.

Speaking of small impoundments, with all the rain, I cannot get to a job I have going, Oologah is too high to even mess with for now. I have made plans to hit a strip pit that holds some giant bluegill. I'll have to drag a johnboat to get to it, not to mention, bring a chainsaw to clear some of the ice damage, but the rain is about to clear and I WILL wet a hook. I haven't fished it in a while, but have always had a good time.

I'm not sure but we do an annual trip every year when it gets good and hot to AH. I hope they have it accessable.
