Default Summer fishing!

Maybe this info. will help. On Eufaula you have multiple places and structure you can fish. If the water is up high fish the bridges and points close to the channels. Bait fish are always there and so will the crappie. Especially if they are running water at the dam to create more current at the bridges. Next standing timber if you can see it again find the shad and fish those trees in that area. Last Oolagah boys will tell you Brush-piles in the right depth of water with the shad around. I hope this info helps someone load the boat. These are all great lake crappie fishing places. Remember that those crappie can be anywhere they want to be at any time at any depth. Especially up the creeks when it is hott!!! but that is a different pattern!!!! Good fishing!!! EB

go to the state web site and look for the brush piles link. find the brush in 18-28 foot of water close to deep/shallow water and humps. I found some great places to fish both Eufaula and Oolagah using this method. Good Luck!

We do a lot of timber fishing on both oologah, eufaula, skiatook, and any other lake that has timber. The results at times can be awesome. The timber on oologah can produce some good fish but it might require you hitting a lot of trees until you find them. Last weekend we spider rigged up on wiganon bridge and caught a nice mess of slabs both sat. and sun. in the middle of the day.
