Default Broken Bow anyone?

Checking to see if anyone has been down to Broken Bow lately? I'm starting to feel the itch about renting a cabin down there for a few days and getting away from the hustle and bustle.

Thinking the same way, I want to take my wife down for some Trout fishing, then hire a guide to go after Crappie. Plus I know this lake used to fish it every year, But i think a guide would be less than taking my own boat down there.

Last time I fished it was great, caught a limit in the unrestricted area on Berkely power eggs in chart. rigged on a drop leader, cast e'm out then reel back slowly so they wobble that seemed the best, even had one Colorado Golden.

Any size to them, or are they the usual 8 to 10 inch fish from the hatchery? I fish for them occasionally below Tenkiller, but they are the smaller ones.

Not too bad, although I've got way bigger in Arkansas on the White River.

Pawhuska city lake has some good trout. Caught some good ones there from time to time fishing for Red-Ear.
