I went out yesterday from around 8 a.m. till bout 4 in the afternoon. Too windy to fish most of my favorite deeper spots, banks and such. I ended up working the brush near the bank, 3 males about 13" and one female about the same length. The fish were extremely few and far between. I bet I worked 2 miles of brush in this manner. This was my first trip out in a long, long time. I rarely miss a spawn, but have been too busy. The few fish I found were late spawners in 75 degree water. I think a night trip would produce more fish. The lake has been so high this spring, and they have dropped the water so fast. It looks as if it's going to be a bad year for babies.

How deep were the ones you did catch? I made an attempt at some slow trolling and never had a bump. I got tired of fighting the wind.
