Default Thunderbird Lake

Anyone had any luck out there? I usually do pretty good with minnows around the twin bridge area.

Been slower as a whole this year. Especially compared to last year. Twin Bridges has been particularly BAD for me this year, but most of the rest of the popular spots have been ok. Seems to me that not as many fish have left the "big water" area around the dam/marina. They've gone shallow and done their thing, but not to the far reaches like Little River or Hog Creek. At least not in big numbers like they have in the past. Just MY experience though.

The marina, Fisherman's Point, stump patches (South side and East side), tower by the dam, etc.

Question very confused spawn

this year. About three weeks ago they were starting to get in the shallow brush, then rain and cold fronts for two weeks. I caught some nice 10-11 inchers last Monday and they were spawned out. I just don't know when or where cause I didn't find them. Most of the fish I have caught this month were singles on a small weeds or brush in 5-8 ft. of water. Catch on here, there and then nothing for an hour and then a few more. I guess I'll just wait for my summer pattern where they will be bunched up on my condos.

last few weeks we have picked them off in very shallow water close to dusk around little axe area/road bed and such. and last saturday during the afternoon we picked off a ton at twin bridges...garlands trolled slow.
the shallow ones have been in the new real estate caused by the higher water..some up as shallow as 8-10" of water. I banged my trolling motor up some last weekend
a few good saugeye also interrupted the crappie fishing at times too
