Male & Females we managed to find shallow, alot different than last year!!!

Where are you fishing Rip? We have been fishing Coal Creek on Eufuala this weekend. We caught 79 on Friday and 76 on Saturday. We are going back tomorrow morning. I have been very surprised at the lack of people fishing. We have seen only a handful of folks fishing. I think I only saw 4 boats and a couple of waders all day Saturday. Has everybody else given up or have they already caught a freezer full?

Coyote; You must have ESP! , we were wading when these were caught these were some of the better ones for photogenics, I think we ended up with 32.

My brother has been wading, sometimes with a buddy and I and one or two others have been trolling, mostly around the highway 69 rip rap but also along some banks. We go for aways and won't find anything and then hook up with 6 or so at a time. The waders have been catching all males and the trollers have been catching all females which by the way have been a better average size of fish than the males. Those are some nice picture taking fish you have there!

We use mostly 2" Yum beavertails. We caught 110 yesterday, 52 wading and 58 trolling. Black and pink was our best color.

sounds like the bite is going to peak anytime with the night time warmth this week. You trolling the rip raps Coyote or the creek channels?

Hello, I was down there on Sunday and caught a few at Coal trolling rip-rap. I know in past years when the water is right that area stays hot all threw June as well. So don't think just because the spawn is ending that you can't still load the boat!!! That is a great area I guided it last year in May and June and was averaging 75 fish an evening!!!! Good Spot!! EB
