eagle lake, mississippi trip
my dad and i just returned from a short fishing trip i n mississippi. we stayed with my uncle eagle lake larry. we caught 97 crappie in 2 and a half days. the biggest was a 2.2lber caught by dad and a 2.0 by me and so on down the line. we used jigs by ed's from bartlesville. the 1/32 ounce pink and chartreuse worked fro us. larry located the fish and put us on them while he fished with another uncle ron. larry lives on the lake and is usually in the kn ow about eagle and the surrounding oxbow lakes. i will try to download some pix to backup my story here. i caught catfish,yellow bass, huge bream,and wipers on this trip. eagle lake rocks!m
