05.22.2015 Status of Oklahoma Crappie Camp at Snake Creek Campgrounds on Lake Tenkiller

The Crappie Camping Group is monitoring the Lake level conditions at Tenkiller and the impact on the Snake Creek Campgrounds.
A decision will be made within the next seven (7) days whether to continue with the June 5th - 7th dates or to postpone the Camp to a date to be determined later.
The final decision will be posted on or before Monday, June 1st on the Oklahoma Crappie Camp Sub Forum.

The following information was obtained from the Tulsa District, Corps of Engineers Facebook Site.

    Update posted - 05.20.2015
TULSA — The Tulsa District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today a list of temporary recreation closures due to high water from recent rain events in the district.
This list will be updated as needed. Visitors should note that this is a dynamic situation and this information could change within a few hours depending upon rainfall.
It is best to call the lake office to check on campsite and boat ramp availability or go to
Recreation.gov before going to the lake.

X3. I feel that it would be prudent to postpone the Camp until the water level returns to "normal" and is stable. .02
