That bottom 11.5" reminds me of a black crappie with the big hump.

What technique were you using jbowlesfish?

A few different techniques depending on the day. The picture with the white bass that crappie was 15 inches caught that all of those jigging trees in timber creek. The other days caught them cast and drag on main lake points.

Went out today after work with a buddy from Stillwater. Got there about 230 and went to a couple of our regular spots on the Hog Creek section. Picked up a few 8-10s here and there. Moved to the Little River section marked a lot of fish in the channel of a cove away from the visible structure we normally fish and from 530 to just before dark,(he had to head back), it was as steady as I've had at Tbird since the flood. Ended up catching 35-40 on the day with 8 right at 12" that he took home to his wonderful mother, to prove to her that yes, we do fish! and she will cook them for him as he only knows how to make ramen noodles!! I'm thinking since I'm off tomorrow, I'm going to run errands in the morning, maybe nap a bit then head out about 3-4 and see if the later bite hits and stay longer after dark. We were still catching them pretty steady when we packed it in today.

Underwater Fishing lights i was wondering if these were effective during winter months i have only used them in the summer and it was pretty hit and miss also should you put them directly in the fishing slip next to underwater cedars or is it better to have a wide open space any information on this would be a great help and if you have any underwater lights you built yourself please post
