    Default Crappie size

They are from 7 to 12 inches . Some are pretty nice . they have put sauger in their now also , you can catch a couple of those and get a nice fillet out of them . No size limit on sauger. not sure about the limit I think it is 3.

I think the last few days of 70+ weather will help get rid of the ice, I live about 20 min. from there we still have iced over ponds. Come on spring!

    Default acton lake

it was sunday when I was their, it should be thawing pretty good by now , the only thing im concerned about was all the mud on the ramp along with the large bunch of debrea that was around the launch ramps.

    Hi.
The north end of the lake has had dredging going on for the last few years.
In my opinion the lake will never clear up - as long as it is occuring.
The sailboats; they say, need it to be deeper in the north part of the lake.

I would really love to see a crappie tournament show up and try to fish the lake
during the post spawn. The lake really needs some fish attractors, and stake beds etc..,
most of the trees, and cover for the fish has disapeared, but I do know there
are some nice crappie in the lake.

    Gloves up!
    Rick.
