    Default Line twisting

Hey everybody I have a quick question I bought some spinning reels and I put line on them and everytime I open the bail line just comes flying out like it is all twisted up like a spring any ideas on how to stop this...

    Thanks

What kind of line, reels u using?

Make sure when putting line on the spool to hold the line so it goes on tight to the reel. Do not fill the spool all the way to the top. Leave a bit of room. Look for twist in the line by laying it on floor if the line twist then turn the spool over on the other side and keep doing this until finished. I also soak my line overnight helps reduce twist. Blakemores reel product works 2 spary some on the line b4 u fish. Or buy a can of silcone spary.

    Hope this helps!!
Let us know how it turns out.

What do you soak it with just water? Iam using a mitchel spinning reel with world wide sportsman line 4lb test.

    Thanks

Just plain old tap water. Put water into a bowl and sit the spool in. Let it soak overnight then spool up. Never heard of that line before. I use triline and never have any trouble.

I alway sit the spool on the floor and pull the line up a couple of feet and then lower back to the floor, if it tries to twist than flip the spool over. When I get to the lake at idle moving forward, I let most of my line out and tighten my drag all the way down, and with the tip of my rod in the water I reel the line back on, than spray it with reel majic this works well for me. If I fish with the same rod a lot that day ,I will cut the bait of and drag it behind the boat again. The line gets a twist in it after awhile, and this helps take that twist out.

I Would Switch Brands. It May Be Good Line But If Its Flying Off The The Reel It Apparently Isnt Your Best Choice . I Fish Stren With No Problems.
