Hoping fishman43078 is getting in on this action soon. Chad helped with the drop and during the planning phase. I have passed on all the info to him so I bet he will bite soon.

As I said it sure is great to see the OL CJ WOLF PACK INTACT

Yep....it will be good to hear from Chad...we've had some good laughs and need to fish together...hopefully the weather breaks and we all can get out.
This is really going to be a good site for us when we all are fishing this Spring.

    Hey Jesse
Have you checked out the new Keitech craws yet....I'm still trying to get some!
Yakfish gave me some cool swivel football head jigs that will be killer with those things....I need to see where he bought them.

cjpolecat, no, have removed all the branches up to 35` off the ground with a limb pole. am awaiting decent weather and no wind to put a 5-6" `v` notch in the trunk and then back cut it with a hand saw to top it out. later will drop the main trunk with an ax. Will cut it up and split it up as I go...it gives me something to do over the winter.

Sounds dangerous to me, I can find something better to do in the winter. Spring is in the air. hang in there sunshine.

Well, I actually made it out to CJ for almost an hour in the afternoon from 4-5pm....hit the deep cliffs and felt fortunate to catch a 12 inch smallie and a legal 9.5 inch Crappie....I was able to throw a 1/16th oz jig head with a Chartreuse and white 3" easy shiner....I knew things were gonna be tough but I just let it sink, and lifted it easily off the bottom....vertical boat fishing or bobber fishing from the bank is good right now....heard from a buddy that a lot of people have been fishing the docks with little fish to show for the efforts....Wishing now for a big WARM UP! lol

That's the sad part....it felt warm....the dang fish felt like you just pulled them out of the freezer.
I imagine the lake is in the upper 30's.
I didn't go on the rocks since there was still some snow....didn't want to swim with the polar bears!

Be careful if you plan on burning it inside. Pine has lots of sap that will build up in your chimney and can cause a chimey fire.
