I'm going to be there at least Saturday. I always launch at Bantam. I hope Sherry's still has bait although I hardly ever use it.
What day you going to be there?

Bait shops on SR125
Are there any bait shops that carry minnows on SR125 going east from I-275?
Thanks,
Bassky

going east, turn left on SR 222 north, follow about 1 mile till you see the sign for the dam then turn right. You'll see Sherry's pay lake on your right. They should have minnows. They're good people to deal with. If you keep going past Sherry's there is a launch ramp (2 lanes) but I usually go back to SR 125, turn left and go to the Bantam ramp. I like that it's 4 lanes wide and it's hard to block. I think the dock stays in all winter.
You going to be there over Thanksgiving weekend?

Thanksgiving weekend?
I may be going on Friday. If not EFL then I am going to hit the river for sauger or crappie. For sure, earlier next week, I am off Tuesday and Wednesday. I used to crappie fish at EFL alot when I was younger. It has been about 6 years since I have fished EFL for crappie. I have always done pretty good there.

James, I haven't been fishing since mid-September. I will do some hunting that weekend but not sure how much. If my partner would shoot something I may get out on Friday also, if not I'll probably head to the woods with him. He's old and dilapitated, sort of like me.

I usually just use jigs (you know...chart/black like Larry)but I usually stop and get some minnows. The only difference between me and Yates is, he catches fish:D.
I'm with you on that black Friday shopping. I usually wait till about the 20th of December to do my shopping. They could give stuff away and I still wouldn't show up.
