    Default hogans and tanners

went down sat. for 7 hours and ended up with 26 crappies and 5 green carp..all fish came 3 foot deep on a jig and cork and it was a slow bite.could not catch a fish deep..it can't be long before they come up and start impaling themselves...water temp was only 51 degrees and the shad have not made all the way back yet..the shad are about half way back and we could not catch a fish if none were reading on the graph..i guess it cooled down too fast...

It won't be long I'm sure. I'm getting to EF this weekend a couple days. I'm off Friday so I'll be out in the afternoon. Sunday I'll be out from daylight till around 1:00. Rumor has it that mama might even let John out!!! I'll post results if they are worth posting.

    Tbone72,

The furniture man and the repair man caught more crappies while dragging for the repair man's lost fishing pole... They both caught crappie yesterday on a bare hook.. I'm sure you heard that story too!! While they were fooling around with the dinks I was on the piglets.. Not big numbers but the fish were healthy..

    Default Nope

Didn't find it yet.. He thinks its settled into the silt on the bottom of the lake.. The furniture man and I both have underwater cameras.. We should try to find it that way.. $250.00 worth of fishing pole is worth a closer look.. I don't know if his current pole can make it through another season.. :D

I have scuba gear. Where'd it go in? I'll ransom it back to him. Gonna cost him for me to get in that cold water though.
