    Default tbone

Tbone thinks he knows it all you guys are giving him to much credit. lets just put it this way if we had a lake lets call it lake X and we all were fishing there for the first time old tbone would have the push pole out up in a creek or river pushing across the first set of rapids to see if the fish were there and that would be the first place he would go along with me & fatkid and harry & harrys partner shareing the push pole.

Tbone also watched some guy go up a creek to the first log jam and take his bass boat up and over the log jam what did tbone do he did the same thing then he watched the guy disapear in a creek that did not have any water in it what did tbone do he disapeared to.

Now as for the other lakes that he was right about he keeps a log for every one of those lakes when there are tournements on them since about 1998. He wrights it all down even what color the winners wives pantys were. YODA JEDI CRAPPIE MASTER MY BUTT.

    Default 3 foot deep

and as far as tbone knowing not to fish any deeper it is kind of hard to do with a cane pole just joking about that. Is there any other way to fish other than (top 4 on my list) (1) jig and cork (2) dead sticking in 4 to 12 foot of water (3) walleye and perch fishing at lake erie drinking a cold beer (4) salmon fishing at lake michigan drinking a cold beer. man i really wish my big boat would fix its self.

There's something to that going up in a creek further than you think you can. I fished Weiss this spring around Bay Springs. We went up a little creek till we started kicking mud in about 2 feet and turned back. No fish. That night we were at the cleaning station and our neighbors at the cabins were cleaning a giant Coleman cooler full of 1.5 and 2 pound slabs with what looked to be a few 3s mixed in. They had pulled the boat to the bank and walked past that shallow stuff in the same creek and bank fished it and KILLED 'EM. Of course, the following day they didn't take the boat and walked in there. The cooler not only had more slabs in it, but a big ole snake that looked like a water moccason to me. No thanks...I'll stay in the boat.
Yeah, I know.....totally off subject. Pakrat's rant reminded of that day and I just had to share. See you all on the water.

    Default wambalance??

What the HE** is a wambalance tbone is that what they call them in MEXICO and I can not beleave you are calling me a city slicker you city slicker. And as far as buying the beer I will take care of that you just have to put gas in PACRAT you better go to the bank.

Hey Speck next time you go to weiss I would be finding a set of waders to take and get out and pull the boat across.

osker, i didnt realise that was the spot. I normally do purty good with dircetions, but i was purty much lost from the time we put the boat in the water on that lake. I thought it was odd i saw so many teams back there thursday in the rain. We caught our best fish in the next tributary over, in about 5fow, caught a couple real nice ones, pounders anyway, but they werent there saturday, story of our season.

Speck, there is a feeder creek on brookville lake identical to your weiss story, you can fish your bag off at the mouth of it, and zero, but you hike up a few hundred yards, you'll run out of hooks before you run out of spawning crappie.
Plus i havent seen a mocasin at brookville in about 4 years now.
