I went yesterday for a few hours and couldn't buy a bite shallow. Did catch a nice wiper shallow. Bait fish were in shallow but the crappie wouldn't bite for us. Caught 9 keepers on ledges and then got rained out.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it out Sunday. Some unexpected things have popped up. Wish I could come out and play in the mud, but such is life I guess. Mike oughta try to reschedule it. It might be a tough one to get guys out for after all that rain. BUT, then there is the whole duck hunting thing. Don't those guys know there will be plenty of boats on the lake through October anyway, regardless of whether there is a tournament or not? We lose good May fishing to the regattas, then lose the whole fall to the dang duck hunters. Oh well, I'm just pissed 'cause I can't go Sunday I guess. Good luck everybody. Maybe I'll catch a few of you out next weekend or something.

T-bone - Good luck, Osker and I will not be able to make it. I have a very busy schedule with work, trying to get everything caught up for BCC classic at Salt Fork.

Yates and I was out last weekend, we had a good bag, a few whites with shoulders. However they may have been washed out from all the rain we've had. Let me know what I missed, I heard Yates has a new partner-"Ringer".

    Default OK, who won?

What kind of turn out was there? Who won? I'm going nuts stuck here at home when I should be fishing. Did Tbone work the cork to a win. Milkman get back on track? Yates come off the snide? What happened?

Tbone wussed out!! The Milk was on track, Yates was Yates! 12 teams, I think.
It was cold-35. We had four fish 9in+ at 3.29# SOME had fishes under 9in! thought we were going under the new rules, via the bonehead! Tough Bite, but better than the first day of the classic. Didn't catch a keeper untill 1;00

Tbone backed out?! He's the one who was making sure everyone else showed up. That's surprising. Wish I could have made it, but it looks like a lot of guys decided to skip out on high muddy water. I was under the impression that old rules were still in play for this one. Maybe I'll see you guys out there this winter. If not, see ya in March.

Speck, see post from the bonehead on 9-22-09 about tournie.
Missed ya out there, wasn,t much happening till the sun got up and temps rose. Maybe cause my hands were in pockets. I didn't troll, had new partner and pitched jigs in 20ft all day. His boat, no driftmasters!!!!!
