    Default Strike Indicator

What is a strike indicator... thought that was fly-fishing talk (need pic). Does anybody have a setup for two baits under a cork? or three baits perhaps. Thanks for any help. Is Gold still on fire?:D

I have seen you using strike indicators on East Fork, you were fishing a flat on the east end of the lake. Us jig fishermen don't like using bobbers so we use "strike indicators".

I'm not sure how much weight they would hold tho? Maybe get by with a 1/64 if this is what you are talking about?

No I don't use them and don't own any either, that is why I was guessing at what weight they would hold. I use bass poppers as a strike indicators for my FR. Have seen fly guys catch many different types of fish using them tho.

I got rid of my posts above as not to cause any confussion with what information he was looking for. Sorry....

You're correct. Many fly fisherman can't bring themselves to utter the word "bobber", so they call it a "strike indicator".

A typical fly fishing strike indicator won't support much weight -- probably 1/64 oz at most.
