Hey all. I've not been on EF in a good while. Are the fish setteling down after the tourney season has slowed? I hear Gold is on fire with those lots of BIG'UNS!! What would be some good fall colors for that lake? I'd like to try one day next week, if midterms don't take all my time. I'm gonna try CC this morning,,,hmmm were are those longjohns. (38-degree)
I'm heading out Saturday morning myself. I'm sure they've not went to an all out fall pattern yet, but they gotta be moving. Not a color I had used much till recently, but lime green/chartreuse has been good for me the last couple times out. Southern Pro sells their Lil Hustlers and 2" crappie tubes in a glow green/chartreuse that I really like. Black/chartruese is tough to beat too. Or plain ole minnow silver....the kind that swims by itself.
I love this time of year!

Tbone, my cell is on the blink. Can't get your phone number out. Call me with it or pm me. Don't catch all them slabs without me.
By the way, yesterday's color for me was red sparkle/chartreuse in the mud. Not a great day by any means. Finally got tired of fighting wind. But the ones I caught were decent fish. All whites.
