I fished CC Monday morning until 10am. (School day) The crappies were suspended about 12 ft down in 17 fow. Ended with 7 white keepers (all released) and lots of smaller ones. It was nice and cool early, but warmed up quick. I didn't see Ron on the practice field. This guy puts in his time w/ that LL. CC is hard for me to find many Black Crappies. Not sure if there's not many there or just not in the areas I fish. I trolled tubes, minnows, and tube/minnow combo and the plain minnow worked best today. But combo caught the largest fish. Any advise for catching Black Crappie on CC? PM me with a few spots and techniques to try would be nice . Thanks in advance!
