Thread: Still not hearing much from Central Ohio

Where are all of the fishing guys and gals from the areas surrounding Columbus?

I am looking for fish outings within 45-60 minutes from Columbus or Grove City area. Can be in a boat or on the bank. My fishing partner decided that he needed to live in his own house instead of us being in one house (mid-life crisis??). Darn - and I was just getting into fishing for crappies. I am still somewhat of a beginner, but I usually catch the first fish when out on the boat. Fished last year in the Buckeye Crappie Challenge tournaments. I am over 50 and live in the Grove City area.

I would also be interested in starting up a Central Ohio Crappie Club.

Crappie-pickgal, I try to post reports for Alum Creek and Delaware from time to time. However, I am without a boat and most of my crappie fishing is March through May. I might crappie fish a couple times in June and a couple times in Sept or Oct and that is about it. I used to fish a lot more before the baby came along. Plus I fish for musky and smallies a lot in the summer time. Not enough days in the weekend or hours or something like that.
