    Default eastfork mon. night

went to eastfork mon. night for 5 hours or so and caught alot of fish but the size was down.started out fishin a brushpile we moved and got about 9 taters and 1 keeper using minnies and jigs..by the end of the day we were only casting jigs and catchin way more and better fish.do not know why they did not want a slip float which is very odd this time of year.most fish came 12 to 15 foot deep on black and chartruese but we did catch some in 3 to 6 foot of water also.SLOW RETRIEVE!!!Yates was out there bustin em up too!See ya Saturday and yes boys IT'S PAYBACK TIME !!!!Chicken legs got a net holder for his belt so now he can fish too!!!

WOW, you guys went out in those storms? I figured there was no way you were going fishing after work on Monday. It poured out here in Fairfield. I was either going to shoot 3D archery or if a friend backed out of that, I was going to go to EF fishing but there was so much rain & lightning I didn't do either. Glad to hear you did pretty good.

What are the details to fish a boars head tournament. I am thinking maybe the 30th. Pay at the boars head 6:00? Can you launch anywhere this year?

John and I went yesterday. We didn't stay in any one spot too long. Been a while since we been out so we wanted to check as many spots as possible. We found some decent size and numbers. Opposite results from Tbone though. All came on minnows under slip.Couldn't buy one on a jig all day, though we didn't exactly try all that hard either. Minnows were working pretty well. I won't say we are on them, because every time I do they get a case of lockjaw or the taters move in, but it was a better day then we've had in a while. See you all out there Sunday. I can't prefish tomorrow. It's my anniversary, and I've gotta keep mama happy so I can try and stay on 'em for the next few weeks.

It's ok. John got out today in my boat, and I got a free tank of gas out of the deal. I'll make up for lost time on the lake tomorrow. See you all there.

Were you out on Sunday during the tournament? We had a blue colored Bass Tracker boat come by us a few times, we were out in the middle of the lake fishing a deep ledge.
