Thread: Don Don on a serious note

I want to apologize to G-3 for reacting the way I did. I had a very dear friend call me and tell me what had happened and with me already in an EXTREMLY pissy mood, it hit me the wrong way, for that I'm sorry bud.

I guess my problem with the whole thing besides it hurting my good friends feelings was the whole PP whacking thing that's been on here for awhile. I know this site is KID FRIENDLY and many have abused it, myself included.
I got a copy of what Torch had posted and there was not a single thing wrong with it but I do understand your rash decision to delete it but you as a moderator HAVE to have thick Skin and not do what you did. Just because you delete one post which in my opinion was the worst post I've EVER seen on this board, you can't worry about someone's feelings on the next post.

I truly wish things could be different because this has caused a huge stir in what I consider a FAMILY. I have an awesome wife, kids, friends and family in general and for those I've gotten to know on here, you ARE a part of my family now.
That's the way I look at it anyways. I've got ole Wannabe and he's my brotha from another Motha who I consider a true friend no matter how much crap he gives me. Then Bigger, Triton, Maj, Feelay, Jeep, Creek, Speck and so many more on here that I've met and really gotten to know closely. Yeh, there are more names but I'm trying to cut this short. LOL

Torch and Satdoc are 2 of my closer friends on this board. When I got on here they both kinda took me under their wings and led me in the right direction on fishing. Heck, the last weekend at Grenada when we had the last tourney on Saturday and the Championship on Sunday, they told me to follow them in Sunday and they'd put me on some fish. Sure enough, I followed them and I caught fish. Guess what I'm trying to say is, we're all adults and there will be times when we screw up, that's just life and it's gonna happen. I'm hoping that today will bring new thoughts to what all happened and maybe we can get back to where we were, one big happy family.
I truly hope that Torch decides to come back, this place won't be the same without him and Satdoc. Personally I love the heck out of both of them and don't want them to leave so here's a big shout out.

TORCH, PLEASE RETHINK WHAT ALL HAS HAPPENED, ACCEPT G-3's APOLOGY AND COME BACK.

Don I sure enjoy getting on the MS board and jawing with ya'll and we have gotten out of hand some. I hope clear heads prevail and we all join in and have some fun again. We need some nice weather so all of us can get out and do some fishing. One other thing either you used spell check or you had Nessa type this for you.:D

I actually took my time, read it and corrected my typing for a change. Think you're right, All this bad weather has us ALL stir crazy and on edge. I know I'm about to go nuts with all this cold mess. I can't remember a year when it's just been plain ole cold for so long. Down here in Mississippi, I'm used to having some upper 70's degree weather in the winter and I don;t think it's gotten above 55 or 60 since about early November. Least it's SUPPOSED to be in the mid to upper 60's tomorrow with light winds. I'll be on the lake at daylight looking for a few personally. If I don't catch a fish, atleast I'll be on the water enjoying the lake

DD thank you for saying what you did. I have no animosity or hard feelings towards anyone on here. Having not met any of you personally yet I still think a lot of everyone here and consider all of you friends. I also hope that Torch will come on back as well as satdoc. It was just a judgement call on my part and I cannot always do things everytime in a perfect way. I do try to be fair and I do try to do a good job here. There is no way that anybody can be a moderator and please everyone...but I do try. I did what I thought needed to be done...its done...its over so lets all move forward and get over it.

Don, I have always called you a friend and thanks for the kind words. As I said maybe some good will come out of this. Thanks Bud!

Don't make me come up there and give you a big old Smooch on the cheek now bud. you KNOW I'll do it my friend Just ask Satdoc. Personally when he pulled that butter cutter on me, he was faking all that. He secretly wanted me to give him another smooch on the cheek but being an old hardazz, he didn't want anyone to know it.:D:D:D
