Default Just got back from Lowe's

Picked up 7, 8x10x16 Cinder blocks that weight about 30 pounds each. Then I got 4, 50 lb sacks of Quickcrete. Gonna cut the rest of the Boo just before I get off'n work and start making me some Boo Blocks to put out this weekend!!! Do you guys think that if I cut them 6 foot long and put them in about 10-12 FOW on the first drop form Shallow water, they'll be good for prespawn? I've never done this before but we had the boo at my office that HAD to be cut down and it's the tall Boo. bout 20 foot long

DD, I done went the economical route on mine. I collect 5 gallon buckets and then take a hole saw and bore me bout 6-8 holes bout 2" across from each other. Then I put me some of those free concrete chunks at the boat ramp and put them in the bottom. Then I run the cane through the holes til the first limb goes through the hole or futher. Then I come through from the other side and repeat. Then take a zip tie and tie em together on each side. then do the same fer the rest of the holes. Then if I want it tall I drill 1/4" holes in the sides of the bucket and stands the boo up right using wire ties to snug it to the buckets. Just the way I do it. (Oh yea, That free concrete............dont let em see you borrowing it. They really like it piled up like they got it.)
