Thread: Minn Kota PD v2 w/ I-Pilot

Trying to find one w/ 54" shaft with US2? Looked pretty hard on the internet last night and the only ones i could find had 60" shaft... Can someone provide link? Thanks...

Cut the shaft. Talked to a Minnkota engineer a while back, he recommended to buy the motor that you want, and cut the shaft down ( all Terrovas that come with i-pilot are 60" shafts). There are some guys on here who have done it, they have said it was easy to do.

Yea I have several buddies that have done it. Hard to swallow though! Hate to pay $1000 for something and then hack on it as soon as it comes in...

I bought the 60" intending on cutting it but I have gotten use to it and I think I am gonna leave it as is for those windy day's.

The only problem with it is I don't think it is a V2. The older version will not work with I-pilot.

Yea I'm looking for one with the i-pilot and 54" shaft... Just don't think they make one.

The only motor they sell at this time with i-pilot from the factory, is the 60" Terrova.

Could you not buy it without the I-pilot then add it yourself.
