what would you pick? I haven't used alot of different kinds but I do like my Wally Marshall alot. I've also got a B & M Buck's Graphite Jig Pole that I like as well.

I Would Get A Medium / Heavy Tip On A B&m Pole. I Don't Have One But I Think They Call It A Brush Master??? I Like A Bottom Reel Seat As I Only Vertical Jig, With Stren Gold 8 Lb Test. Don't Know How Guys Can Use 2-4 Pound Test. I Would Break Off A 100 Times A Day. So If You Aren't In The Brush And Trees You Might As Well Stay Home.. Just My Opinion

My favorite is a B&M crappie custom jig pole with botom reel seat, I prefer an 11' .

DD, I have a new one from BNM called Bucks Best Ultra Lite, with bottom reel seat. This is the lightest rod I have ever held. Will be a great single pole weapon. Even with a reel on it , it hardly weighs anything.

Default Been looking at them Sat and feelay

With Nessa fishing more and more now, I need a couple more light weight jig poles cause those 12 foot trolling poles get HEAVY after the first hour or so. LOL

If I were you, I'd get me an aluminum one about 2" around with a duck foot on the bottom on it. That way, when you take off fishing this weekend without going over that motor and it goes kaboom about 4PM, you can use it to push pole your way back in if you're in shallow water or if the wind is blowing, you can use it to hold the boat off the rocks down there on the levee when you make it there about 2AM.

Only trouble is, it only comes in extra heavy action and you have to tape a reel to it.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

I personally like the Ozark 11 footer bottom reel seat. I like the feel of the cork much better than the eva foam.

My B&M does have cork. The Ozarks are good as well, just seem a little heavy to me.
