OK, this story will be MUCH shorter than my arch nemisis's story. I couldn't take it no mo after the last 2 days of getting pics on my cell phone so I HAD to head to the rez.
Took off work, then went home and finished up installing the new TM cable since my new one lasted 1 entire trip. Anyways, got to the lake and wanted to troll the north creek edge in Pelahatchie bay. Kewl, got setup with 7 poles, each with 2 jig/minner. That takes a LONG TIME to get setup if you've ever done that.
Had just started trolling around and was getting to the drops I wanted to fish when I hear a boat coming. CRAP, I knew my boat was gonna be a rockin but what I didn't know was that someone was wanting to test drive a boat for 45 minutes. I was about ready to shoot him at one point. I had already screamed at him and shot him the middle finger a few times but he was just ignoring me. Seems with 33,000 acres of lake, he decides to make big circles around little ole me. Now I know he thought he was staying away enough but it don;t matter when you're got your rods in the holders and just easeing around. I had enough and picked up 7 poles, took off the 14 minners, raised the TM, put the cooler of beer back up, put the seat back in the back of the boat and a few more things and headed North.
Went past 3 Prong and up to around Gilligans Island there are some Stumps in 20 something FOW on the North side of the channel I've been wanting to try. Got setup again (30 minutes) and started hitting the edges of the VISIBLE (Key word) stumps Immediately caught 3 or 4 but 2 were TB's with the others being about 11 inches each. Got hung up and time or 2, nothing unusual around stumps so I just retied and put it back out. Stayed there a couple hours and same thing, catch a couple, keep one and TB another. then IT HAPPENED. Had 7 poles out and 6 went down at the same time to stumps that were NOT VISIBLE. I had my polorized glasses on and thought I'd see most stumps. Oh heck no, so I spent 45 minutes unhanging, retying and this and that. Bout the time I got it all set back up the wind kicked up from nothing to about 10-12 MPH so I heading back to Pelahatchie bay. NUFF SAID. Totals were a dozen fish with 6 Keepers from 10-13 inches and 6 TB's. Not gonna count the 3 or 4 Gaspagoo's and many catfish I caught.

Don at least you were out there, it was a beautiful day. I was at work for 10 hours yesterday, but have no fear my time is coming very soon.
