Why is it everytime I look at weather forecasts it looks like you are either getting clobbered with rain or fixin to get clobbered. Have you got any crops left. Watch out for this weekend my friend.

I was thinking the same thing, maybe he needs to switch to rice or maybe even catfish farming. Not much better in OV, guy two blocks over has a fancy weather station I watch on Weather Underground, we are 10" above average for the year. I have a dry well type drain in a low spot in my driveway that I clean out with a hand auger, usually get 7.5' to 8' before cave in at the water table, Saturday I didn't get to 4'. 8" or so predicted this weekend, heading to the garage to unstrap the boat and turn it around so I can float up to Wards Corner!

Been a wet year for sure. We got finished panting full season beans july 7th. should have been done May 27th. That is getting late for second crop wheat beans. Stayed wet until last 2 weeks of August then went to flash drought. Hermine ended that with 6 inches of rain. Needed the rain bad. Just a little bit of Milo crop got blowed flat. most is in good shape. Will start harvest next week. Will be glad to get going. Nothing good happens to grain sitting in the field once it reaches maturity. Was the wettest spring and summer I have ever seen. Don't know how we got our crops planted.CF
