    Explain to her the dog is actually helping the rabbit population by keeping them from overpopulating which can lead to disease and losing the whole population.

    Reward the dog for being an alpha and a mass murderer of rabbits. That is natural. Celebrate the fact that you won't have to worry about any of those buck toothed, long eared yard rats eating up any valued vegetation in your kingdom.

    That's my take on the whole deal.CF
