The parking rules I have are.
All wheels of camper must be on pad.
Vehicles can have 2 wheels on grass.
Boat and utility trailers can park on grass.
One camper/tent and one canopy per site, $13 extra for second tent.

There were 2 problems we had at the fall camp that I know of. A truck slide in camper wasn't removed and left at site while launching boat. A site was rented to store boat without camper or tent while owner went home for the nights. I had extra tents.
    ?? ???

They seem to be a lot more lax than the corps camp ground. No problem parking on grass.

Sardis, Enid and Butla Corps campgrounds should follow the Grenada South Abutment campground!!! Plenty of room to park as most of the sites are covered with gravel. Very clean and well managed.

Don't know for sure, but they have grass at John Kyle. Haven't seen anyone parking like we could at Cossar.

Park manager got fired and I do not think they are having the hunt, was some pretty bad safety issues with the hunt zones they had set up.

Our last fall camp that I camped at Cossar. I had reservations, I didn't go to the office before or after setting up our campsite to check in. Our name and dates were on the reservation post. Terry the female ranger came by to check who we were. We saw a few rangers drive through the grounds during day and night. As someone pulled out of a site Terry was there picking up trash and blowing the sit off before new camper showed up, even blowing the road off. She said the manager was going to retire and she hoped to get the job, she had plans.
My brother camped there at a later date, talked with Terry and said a new manager was in charge, she wasn't happy. His next time down he said she was fired.
We camped there in October, got the same site as I always try to get and were surprised at the difference. We saw an old man drive through once per day in a red dodge. Never saw him get out to do anything. No one came to our site to see who we were. Tickets on the reservation post were a month old. Trash everywhere, fire pits and grills were full of ash and trash. Couldn't tell the difference between the road, sites and grounds.
Now John says the manager was fired. I hope they get a good replacement, hope it's Terry.

Driving on the boat ramp road in October I saw fresh red paint on a few trees on the south side. I saw 2 deer blocks on the other side of the red trees. I've never seen the red trees in years past.

I sent ranger Scott at Sardis a message about this. They haven't heard anything yet. Will send me a copy with his wife to the auction when it shows up.
