Check for stopped up exhaust! Ask me how I know?

When your pumping the priming bulb are you getting gas through it and does the bulb get kinda firm for what it is, and are you seeing a lot of bubbles in the primer? You might try replacing that primer if so. Know you don't want to spend any more but I'm like you, just hate letting something like that kick my behind. On my still I had to buy carb from stil when mine quit.

I'm hearing a common theme.....check the exhaust. Had to drill hole in the muffler of a set of hedge trimmers just like eagle 1 one time. No telling how many hedges they've trimmed since then.

I've got same weed eater and had same problem, like crappiemaniac said check for stopped up exhaust. I had some kind of insect built a nest inside and left just enough hanging out of the whole to pull it out with forceps. Fired right up after that
