That "Fairy Dance" was awesome!!!!!!!!!
I will Always love Mike and will never forget our times together but I know some of you have memories that I wasn't part of. I am asking now before some of them start slipping away that you tell me all of your funnies. I want to laugh at some of the things that I missed. It doesn't matter that 1 person has 10 stories. If you think of it please take the time to share it with me and include photo prof if you have it.
Mike would not want us sad and crying, (still dealing with that) he would want us to remember the good times.
So please share away.
dondon I got to hear the story about the fairy dance?

The only tourney that Mike and I fished together, we were a couple of fish short of having a weighing limit. He turned to me and said "if I had a partner that would catch one every now and then we would have enough." About that time 2 of my lines went off. Both keepers. I asked him was that fast enough and all he could say was " I should have said something earlier". Never forget that goodtime fishing with him.

It would always make me smile when reading one of his post and someone would chime in and give him a hard time about something....and he'd say
" Hush grownups talking here"
I never had the pleasure of meeting Mike and I'm truly sorry for your loss.

I don't have any particular memory event that stands out, but EVERY memory I have of Mike is a Good one. Him staying at the lake house with us during the tourneys, me staying with y'all and fishing the Crappie Masters with him last fall, and I guess my best memory of his kindness and helpfulness was the double hooks he made and brought to me and Jerry to try and catch short striking fish during a MCC tourney at Grenada. He was a kind, warmhearted friend that would do ANYTHING to help a friend in need!!!
RIP my friend!!!
As I re read this post, the word FRIEND keeps coming out. He was a True Friend to everyone he met!!!
Mike and Rees Guide were fishing near me and Yikess one time in a tournament. Mike had bells clipped to his rod tips as strike indicators. We could tell everytime they got a bite by those dang bells ringing. Lol
Mike was camping next to me at Enid. He was hooking his boat up and I was coming down the bedroom steps in my camper my little dog tripped me and I fell. I went out side and Goodtime asked if I was ok. I said what you talking about. He said it sounded like a train wreck. We both laughed and went fishing

I can't give the explanation on here but for those that were there they will know what I'm talking about and John can tell you the rest of the story. We were fishing at lake Washington, it was miserable and I had my little camper set up next to the cabin John and Mike were in. I don't know what started it but Goodtimes was giving me what for about something and I started back on him, after a few minutes of this he said something that got me going, that's when in a real loud voice I named his boat for him. I think I am one of the few people who ever put Goodtimes at a loss for words. He stood there for a minute and I could tell he got mad then he just stammered for a minute, turned around started to walk off then turned around and said ###%%%### ole man and busted up. From then on he never let me forget it, named his team that name and put it in his signature for a while. If you haven't already heard it get John to tell it to you. He and SCOTTV can give you a better rendition of the story than I can.
