Not that its anyones biz but I didnt vote as I didnt see where either candidate was someone I felt would lead our nation capably. No new colors.

Do you feel because you stand firm by your beliefs that others are for some reason going to back down from theirs because of it? Not me. You had your say I'll have mine, aint gotta be no animosity.
I am not one to get so het up about my Constitutional Rights and Freedom of Speech that I confuse it with being able to say whatever I please on here. I think the site owner and mods have made it clear whose rules go on this site and am ok with that.
I guess what it all boils down to is what I said initially- I don't much cotton to the left-wing nuts thing. Yur seeking refuge behind the teacher now and nuts is plural. I'd hate to think of living with myself for even a minute thinking I might be the other one since you perceive me as an Obama backer. As far as I can tell from yur post there is only 1 teacher so I wanted to make sure.
There are alotta right-wing folks on here that I get along with fine but disagree with the content of their posts. I would never be so presumptive as to think I had the right to repeatedly throw disparaging comments out there in their direction just because our viewpoints differ. "So that ye sow, so shall ye reap" comes from a book you say you put stock in so you should surely be able to understand the mechanics of that kind of thinking.
I am the same person I have been for 52 yrs, aint nuthin changed cuz Obama got elected. I abhor the very thought of anyone perceiving me as so shallow that an election would change my whole persona. I AM glad he got elected for one particular reason (at the moment & pending how he acts in office). I
think racism absolutely sucks and it speaks well for us as a nation that this hurdle has been leapt. I grew up thinking I was predjudice, never met or spoke to a black person til I was 17 and went to boot camp at Ft Jackson.
Thankfully somewhere and some time ago I was able to overcome it. I think it was when I decided to become my own man. Too bad it didnt come sooner but thank God it came at all. I say this for all the world to see and dont care one iota if it causes loss of friends, opinions of me, etc..., it is pretty plain to see that none of us designed our own birth therefore we came into this world on the lottery system regarding what color, who our parents are, what country........who am I to judge someone else?
