Default My bad back and numb toes

Just got thru with my 3 rd test to see why my left toes are numb and tingling all the time and the doc said they are just don't know as there are no pinched nerves etc. just some arthritis in my lower back. I have had a MRI, nerve conductive test and today a myelogram and they don't know. He said take Advil etc and put ice on my ankle 3-4 times a day and hope for the best. It is on my trolling motor foot, use the left foot much much more than my right so I'm guessing I have TM Foot.

Mine are like that. But I have nerve damage in my back. From a disk.
That is the reason I do not have a manual trans in my truck. Hard time telling when I am pushing on something.

Had the same symptoms last year and finally got tired of my foot going numb. Had the surgery last Nov. Doc said not only was the disk bad but had scare tissue build up from a fracture to a vertebra. Didn't even know I had fractured the thing. He said it is more common than people realize. Any way--surgery hurt like heck and now have screws in the back, but I can feel my foot again and the pain is Slowly going away. Can now use both feet to run the TM. (lol)

Sorry about your ailment, but you should get a piece of the action if the doctor identifies your problem as "TM Foot" and gets some notoriety out of his findings!!!

Have him check for neuropothy, it's a nerve disorder. The foot tingles could be the opposite of carpal tunnel but in the feet it's called tercel tunnel, my wife had the surgery on both feet to have the blood vessels opened up.

If it is tercel tunnel DON"T GET BOTH FEET done at the same time.

Steve I have the same thing going on.....my last three toes on each foot stay numb and tingling all the time. I have degenerative back disease along with arthritis....and my neurologist is telling me its all coming from the backbone pressing on the nerves in my back.

Yep. I'm just now learning that I'm finally getting old
Going in tomorrow for my third epidural at L1/L2=DDD (Degerative disc disease)
Doc says I have degenerative arthritus. Bad pain in left hip, is much better now, finally was able to go back to work.
This getting old (wiser) is cool but the accompaning baggage ain't cool at all, and then, it all ends with death=ugh ! !
I've always wondered what the heck that little button behind my ear was for (says re-set) but I've never been brave enough to push it
Hoping all your pains subside and one day we'll all live forever.
