I'm not tryin to stir the doodoo pot, but, i dont get it? Take for instance, a sporting interview Thank You Mr Ducksworth (meaning ty for being on the show), Correct? Mr Ducksworth responds Thank You (meaning ty for having me on the show, interview, film, whatever), i may be missing something? but i see both parties being mutually cordial by thanking 1 another!
Or......................................... we might be so preconditioned to say whatever is easiest and requires the least amount of thought to get on with our lives
