Tyson management agreed to it, but it was the union who wanted it:
"Tyson officials said the contract was agreed to by 80 percent of the union's 1,000 members at the plant."
I wonder if union members really wanted this or if union leaders told the members that they wanted it.
I'm interested to see how this "prayer room" works out. At one point in the story, they mention this will be for the Muslim workers. Later, they say it can be used for "all faiths". When tried at various universities, rooms designated for "all faiths" have often become "one faith" -- Muslim.
