Convertible tops

Has anyone ever re- dyed one? If so what did you use and where did you get it?

I called an upholstry place and was told that canvas tops can be re dyed but over a period of time that the dye will eventually crack due to be put up and down. If the top is left up it will work great.

From the best I can tell this top is kind medium in color.... light chocolate...darker than tan... it is on a New Beetle

You might try the areosol spray marhyde, it's tends to last longer than most other's.
But like upholstry place said, the more you go up and down the more it crease's where it folds but the marhyde is a vinyl dye and may last longer

Just have some kids git around it with some Kool Aid. You'll end up with some sort of "tye dye" look. Beetles begat Hippies begat flower power begat weird things.
