going to be driving from NM to NC via I-40. Trying to get a tenative idea as to what gas prices are along the way. I know Oklahoma City is showing about 30cents cheaper than here.....adds up when youre driving 1400 miles with a Uhaul lol. Anybody living close (5 to 10mi) to there care give a relative gas price and exit# ? (to help plan stops).
I talked to my friend who lives in OKC last night, he said prices are around $3.50 a gallon. Not sure what the exit number is but as your coming into OKC from the west there are several gas stations near council road that are usually cheap for being next to the interstate.
Russelville Ar. is usually the lowest price along I-40 in this area. $3.59 today. If you stop for gas make sure you get off at the firist exit coming from the east. The other exits are usually more expensive.
